Job summary

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers is seeking a Civil Designer to join the Digital Delivery and Rail & Transit Systems Production team. Based in Lone Tree, CO, you will support a multidisciplinary design group delivering roadways, drainage, utilities, and rail projects nationwide.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years CAD/drafting experience, proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation, and familiarity with Civil3D/OpenRail tools, along with strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CAD, 3D modeling, drafting or related field.
• 2+ years CAD/drafting experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation (2D & 3D).
• Experience with Civil 3D, Bentley InRoads/OpenRail/OpenRoads Designer.
• Familiarity with Revit, Rhino, Navisworks is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read civil drawings.
• Effective communication and teamwork; willing to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering assignments for heavy civil construction projects.
• Prepare design plans, reports, and supporting docs.
• Develop preliminary and final design plans with engineering teams.
• Assist with design reviews and concept evaluation.
• Use MicroStation, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Open Rail/Open Roads Designer, Civil3D.
• Assist with training materials for the team.
