Job summary

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers in Lone Tree, CO is seeking an experienced Civil CAD Designer to join our Digital Delivery and Civil Production team. The role centers on roadway, drainage, and utility design using AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and OpenRoads Designer.

You will collaborate with engineers, lead small CAD teams, ensure DOT-compatible designs, and contribute to software training materials. This in-office role emphasizes safety and quality in infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in computer-aided design, 3D modeling, drafting, surveying, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in CAD design and plan production for roadway, drainage, and utility projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation (2D & 3D).
• Strong knowledge of Civil 3D, Bentley InRoads, Bentley OpenRoads Designer, and Revit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop preliminary and final design plans for roadway, drainage, and utility projects.
• Participate in design reviews to evaluate concepts and recommend improvements.
• Lead small teams of designers on assigned tasks and projects.
• Prepare progress reports and documents using Microsoft Office products.
