Job summary

Nobel Biocare in Mahwah, NJ is seeking a Junior CAM Development Engineer to support the global CAM development team in building and maintaining CAD/CAM automation solutions. You will perform structured assignments, apply established procedures, and gain hands-on experience with software and automated manufacturing equipment.

Under guidance, you will contribute to projects in medical/dental technology, develop technical skills, and collaborate to ensure reliable production outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in similar engineering role; exposure to CNC machining, CNC CAM programming preferable OR combined equivalent experience in engineering, hands-on CNC machining, CNC CAM programming.
• Must be able to work on site in Mahwah, NJ, 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop new CAM-automation processes; maintain and update existing processes to be as current and efficient as possible.
• Recommend milling strategies and collaborate with team to find best CAM-automation solutions.
• Participate in conference calls with global teams on solutions as needed.
• Provide regular written and verbal status reports and project updates; communicate next steps to management.
• Contribute to development and roll-out of new system worldwide.
• Support production operations when needed, perform root cause analysis, define temporary work-arounds, and implement long-term solutions.
• Support prototyping and voice of customer experimentation.
• Document work and development per company standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
