Job summary

Airbus Americas in Mobile, Alabama seeks a Cabin Engineer to support 2D/3D design and engineering delivery, applying digitalization to improve efficiency, quality, and data-driven decisions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, prepare models and documentation, and help automate routine tasks using Python, Google Workspace, and basic web automation tools, with 80% onsite and 20% remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering (Aero, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical).
• 0 to 3 years of design/analysis experience with cabin or cargo projects.
• Proficiency with Google G Suite and ability to produce technical documents.
• Willingness to learn new digital tools and collaborate across teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Support design & engineering delivery; update 2D/3D models per requirements.
• Track milestones and support engineering change processes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturability.
• Develop and automate reports, data workflows, and testing data.
• Prepare engineering models and documentation following standards.
