Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Buyer for a direct hire opportunity in Camuy, PR. This role supports purchasing, supplier coordination, and inventory activities within a manufacturing environment, helping ensure raw materials, components, supplies, and services are available to support uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and process purchase orders for raw materials, components, supplies, and services based on production and inventory requirements.
• Review inventory levels, production schedules, and ERP/MRP data to determine purchasing needs and prevent material shortages.
• Monitor open purchase orders, supplier deliveries, and lead times to ensure materials arrive on schedule.
• Follow up with vendors to expedite delayed or critical orders and help avoid production interruptions.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Quality, and other departments to resolve material shortages, delivery issues, and quality concerns.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, and order documentation within the ERP/MRP system.

Compensation and Benefits

• Direct hire opportunity.
• Annual salary: $31,200 per year.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday 7 am - 4 pm
