Job Summary

We are seeking a Procurement Coordinator for a contract/temporary opportunity in San Bernardino, CA. This role supports food acquisition, vendor coordination, purchasing, and donor relationship management within a mission-driven food services environment. The Procurement Coordinator will play an important role in helping ensure the consistent sourcing of quality food resources while supporting strong partnerships with vendors, donors, distribution centers, and internal operations teams. Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary liaison with product donors, vendors, food industry contacts, store personnel, and distribution centers.
• Develop and maintain strong donor and vendor relationships to support long-term retention and reliable food sourcing.
• Plan and support food acquisition initiatives to increase the quantity, quality, and variety of donated and purchased food resources.
• Create and process purchase orders, obtain bids and quotes, and support RFP and RFQ activities.
• Procure products under grant-funded programs while ensuring compliance with funding source requirements.
• Coordinate with operations staff and member agencies to respond efficiently to unplanned donation opportunities.
