Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to support process discovery, requirements gathering, and documentation across multiple Agile workstreams. You will assist in current-state and future-state process documentation and help identify improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust before onboarding.
• Must be a US Citizen due to client engagements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Operations, or related field.
• 2+ years of business analysis or process improvement experience.
• Knowledge of requirements elicitation techniques.
• Familiarity with BPMN, UML, swim-lanes, and journey mapping.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Work from client office in Washington, DC and Guidehouse office in Tyson's Corner, VA.

Responsibilities

• Support business process discovery and stakeholder engagement.
• Assist with process mapping, requirements gathering, and documentation.
• Develop current-state and future-state process documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshop support activities.
• Create process maps, swim lanes, journey maps, and workflows.
• Capture requirements, business rules, and procedures.
• Document roles, responsibilities, dependencies, and pain points.
• Support sprint planning and backlog development activities.
