Jacobs is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer with an interest in HVAC, Utilities, Plumbing, and Fire Protection to join our team. You’ll apply theoretical knowledge to real-world projects across the country, collaborating with a technical team on design calculations and multi-trade coordination.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Fire Protection Engineering, can obtain an EIT within 6 months, and may have Revit proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Fire Protection Engineering.
• Desire to design building mechanical systems, including HVAC and piping.
• EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months of start.
• Visa Sponsorhip is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide system design calculations for HVAC, utilities, and plumbing.
• Coordinate with architectural and engineering trades on designs.
• Help develop plans for overall building safety and fire protection.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of assigned work.
