Jacobs is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer with an interest in HVAC, utilities, plumbing, and fire protection systems to join our team. You’ll apply your theoretical knowledge to real-world projects across the country, working under the guidance of Professional Engineers.

You'll design building mechanical systems, coordinate with other trades, and develop plans for safety and compliance while growing from basic design tasks to more complex assignments within a collaborative engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, or Fire Protection Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Desire to design building mechanical systems, including HVAC and piping, for buildings and facilities.
• EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months of start
• Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role

Responsibilities

• Provide system design calculations and coordination with other trades under guidance of Professional Engineers.
• Assist in the design of HVAC dry side, utility systems, building plumbing and fire suppression.
• Progress from basic design work to more complex projects with a technical team.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assigned.
