Job summary

Maximus seeks a data analytics professional to develop and deploy advanced methods to analyze operational data, delivering actionable insights for stakeholders and partners in Roanoke, Virginia. You will lead ETL/ELT pipelines, build dashboards in Power BI, and support data-driven readiness initiatives.

The role requires 5–7 years of experience, strong SQL Server/Databricks expertise, Python or R, and ability to translate mission needs into analytical outputs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of relevant professional experience required.
• Hands-on with Databricks and Apache Spark; PySpark preferred.
• Foundational programming skills in Python or R for analysis.
• Experience building visual analytics with Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy advanced methods to analyze operational data and derive actionable insights.
• Serve as point of contact for data usage across multiple projects and guide stakeholders.
• Analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights around operations and project data.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server and Databricks.
