Job summary

SBT Global, Inc. is seeking a Junior Engineer / BIM Modeler to start a career in BIM/VDC engineering. No prior BIM experience is required; a complimentary training program may precede employment, covering Revit MEP, BIM Modeling, and Navisworks Coordination.

Based in the Austin/Taylor, TX area, this full-time role includes a structured schedule and benefits. Develop and maintain BIM models, support Revit MEP workflows, and participate in coordination meetings with engineering and project teams.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in BIM, VDC, Engineering Design, or Construction Technology.
• Interest in building a career in U.S. engineering and construction projects.
• Willingness to learn Revit, Navisworks, and BIM technologies.
• Ability to learn new technical software and processes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain BIM models.
• Support BIM modeling using Revit MEP.
• Perform BIM Coordination and Clash Detection.
• Participate in project coordination meetings.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Project Teams.
• Support BIM/VDC activities throughout project execution.
• Assist with BIM-related documentation and project requirements.
