Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking a Junior Engineer / BIM Modeler to start a career in BIM/VDC engineering. No previous BIM experience is required; training may cover Revit MEP, Navisworks, and clash detection.

The role focuses on developing and coordinating BIM models across projects with engineering teams in Texas. Entry-level candidates who are motivated to learn and have engineering or related backgrounds are encouraged to apply, with a supportive training program and paid overtime

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates welcome; previous BIM experience not required.
• Willingness to learn Revit, Navisworks, and BIM/VDC technologies.
• Strong computer skills and spatial reasoning abilities.
• Degree in Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain BIM models
• Support BIM modeling using Revit MEP
• Perform BIM Coordination and Clash Detection
• Participate in project coordination meetings
• Collaborate with Engineering and Project Teams
• Support BIM/VDC activities throughout project execution
• Assist with BIM-related documentation and project requirements
