Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Engineering, Robotics, Electrical & Computer Engineering, CS, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in software QA, hardware/systems testing, robotics projects, or engineering operations.
• Proficiency with Linux and basic Python or Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with reading technical docs, logs, and structured test procedures.
• Exposure to automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) or simulation tools (e.g., CARLA, IPG Carmaker).
• Hands-on experience with hardware/mechatronic assembly or robotics projects.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily AV testing operations across virtual, synthetic, or physical environments.
• Perform independent troubleshooting for minor stability issues and document conditions that trigger faults.
• Isolate and document defects with reproduction steps, logs, and environment data for senior teams.
• Maintain data integrity by preliminary log analysis and accurate test run reports under supervision.
• Contribute to test cases, test plans, and SOPs to keep practices up to date.
• Assist senior engineers in designing validation plans and strategies.
• Communicate troubleshooting findings and logs to the lead test engineer for prioritization.
• Document findings using Jira, Confluence, and GitLab to ensure traceability.
