Job summary

Pittsburgh Robotics Network in Pittsburgh is seeking an Associate Vehicle Test Specialist to conduct in-vehicle tests of prototype autonomous vehicles, with a strong emphasis on safety and process adherence.

You will drive, collect data, annotate results, and collaborate with engineers to improve testing efficiency. This role requires flexibility for day/night/weekend shifts and domestic travel as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver''s license with ten years of driving experience.
6 months of autonomous vehicle experience.
Clean driving record for the previous 10 years.
Ability to read a map and navigate testing areas.
Willingness to work days, nights and weekends.
Experience with data logging and basic Linux/scripting knowledge.

Responsibilities

Safely operate prototype autonomous vehicles on defined and undefined routes.
Record data, annotate, and debug using in-vehicle systems and coach new team members.
Use JIRA/Confluence to manage testing tickets and document findings.
Coach and train team members on processes and procedures.
Prepare SOPs and assist with mapping data collection.
Travel domestically as required.
Provide accurate reports of system performance and troubleshoot issues.
Ensure safety practices and adherence to site policies.
