Sun Auto Tire & Service is hiring a Junior Automotive Technician in Arkansas. The role focuses on basic maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, and light repairs under supervision.

The position offers hourly pay with a flag rate, benefits, and opportunities for advancement. A valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a State Inspector license are preferred requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of previous automotive technician experience.
• Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics.
• Current, valid Driver’s license
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to obtain a State Inspector License (in applicable locations) is preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs basic mechanical repairs based on level of experience.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes, fluid changes and power flushes and other basic services.
• Documents vehicle condition using Multi-point Inspection/Repair Order.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections (in applicable locations) ethically and per guidelines.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor.
• Adheres to Sun Auto’s core values and policies, and works flexible schedules.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
