Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in the United States seeks a Junior Automotive Technician to join our team. Compensation ranges from $20–$27 per hour, with hourly plus flag rate. Duties include basic repairs, tire mounting, oil changes, inspections, and documentation.

Must have at least 2 years of experience and a valid driver's license. We offer benefits such as Sundays off, bi-weekly pay, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, holidays, and health/dental/vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of automotive technician experience.
• Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics.
• Current, valid Driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• State Inspector License preferred in applicable locations.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic mechanical repairs based on level of experience.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, balancing, and rotation.
• Performs oil changes, fluid changes and power flushes.
• Documents vehicle condition using inspection and repair orders.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor.
• Flexible schedules including weekends as needed.
• Adheres to company policies and procedures.
