Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Bee Cave, TX is seeking a Junior Automotive Technician to perform basic automotive diagnostics, oil changes, tire services and light maintenance. You will follow a multi-point inspection and maintain safety standards while working with our team.

A minimum of 2 years of technician experience, valid driver's license, and ability to operate diagnostic tools are required; state inspector license is preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years automotive technician experience.
• Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized diagnostics equipment.
• Current, valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• State Inspector License (in applicable locations) is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic mechanical repairs based on level of experience.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes, fluid changes and power flushes and other basic services.
• Documents vehicle condition using Multi-point Inspection and Repair Order.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections (where applicable) following guidelines.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor.
