Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Bee Cave, TX is seeking a Junior Automotive Technician to perform basic repairs and routine maintenance, including oil changes and tire services. You will document vehicle conditions and support inspections following company standards.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years of experience, can operate diagnostic equipment, and hold a valid driver's license. State inspector license eligibility is a plus, with opportunities for advancement and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of automotive technician experience.
• Able to use computerized diagnostics equipment.
• Current, valid Driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain State Inspector License (where applicable).
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic mechanical repairs based on level of experience.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes, fluid changes and power flushes and other basic services.
• Documents vehicle condition using company inspection tools and repair orders.
• Conducts state safety and emission inspections where applicable.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor.
• Works flexible schedules, including weekends as needed.
• Adheres to Sun Auto’s core values and policies.
