Job summary

KPI Solutions is seeking an entry-level AutoCAD Designer to join our engineering/design team. The successful candidate will create accurate 2D warehouse storage layouts and rack installation drawings using AutoCAD, designing material handling systems such as Selective Pallet Rack, Push Back Rack, Drive-In Rack, Pallet Flow Rack, and rack modules.

This role is ideal for recent graduates or those starting in drafting or warehouse storage system design.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of AutoCAD drafting or design experience.
• Recent graduates welcome; internship or academic project experience accepted.
• Basic understanding of warehouse racking systems preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for warehouse racking systems.
• Design warehouse layouts based on floor plans and project requirements.
• Create rack elevations, plan views, sections, and installation drawings.
• Produce layouts for Selective Pallet Rack, Push Back Rack, Drive-In Rack, Pallet Flow Rack, and rack modules.
• Verify dimensions, rack capacities, aisles, clearances, and storage configurations.
• Generate BOMs and drawing packages for manufacturing and installation.
