Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a Junior Automotive Technician. The role covers basic repairs, tire services, and routine maintenance. You will document vehicle conditions and follow safety protocols in a busy shop environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of experience, proficiency with diagnostic tools, and a valid driver’s license. State Inspector License is a plus. Benefits include insurance, tuition reimbursement, and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• 2+ years automotive technician experience required.
• Ability to operate computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical repairs based on experience.
• Carry out tire mounting/dismounting, balancing and rotations.
• Conduct oil changes, fluid changes and power flushes.
• Document vehicle condition using inspection sheets and repair orders.
• Follow safety procedures and report concerns to supervisor.
• Flexibility to work weekends; other duties as assigned.
