Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Flower Mound, TX is hiring a Junior Automotive Technician. You will perform basic diagnostic and repair tasks including oil changes, tire services, and light maintenance, using standard procedures and documenting vehicle conditions.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years’ auto tech experience, a valid driver’s license, and may pursue a State Inspector License where applicable. Growth and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of automotive technician experience.
• Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics.
• Current, valid Driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to obtain a State Inspector License (in applicable locations) is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic mechanical repairs based on level of experience.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes, fluid changes and power flushes and other basic services.
• Documents vehicle condition using the inspection and repair orders.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections (in applicable locations) ethically.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor.
• Adheres to company policies and schedules including weekends as needed.
• Supports Sun Auto’s core values and handbook policies.
