Job summary

CloseKnit is seeking a Junior IT Systems Engineer to join IT Operations in a hybrid role, supporting the athenaOne EHR platform in a HIPAA-compliant environment. You will troubleshoot IT systems and assist with user administration and clinical workflows.

The ideal candidate has hands-on athenaOne experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work with Windows, Microsoft 365, Intune, AD, Azure, and Meraki in a healthcare setting. Onsite in the DMV region is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field or equivalent experience.
Hands-on athenaOne support experience required.
Experience with AD, Azure, Intune, and EHR configurations preferred.
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance in IT environments.

Responsibilities

Provide 1st- and 2nd-level IT support for hardware/software in a healthcare setting.
Administer AD/Azure and device management via Intune; support Meraki networks.
Manage athenaOne user administration, onboarding/offboarding, and permissions.
Document IT and athenaOne procedures; escalate complex issues to EHR administrator.
