Job summary

Coforge is seeking a Deskside Technician in the Charlotte area to provide hands-on hardware support in a large corporate environment. The role requires an IT degree or equivalent, 2+ years of deskside experience, and proficiency with Windows 7-11, macOS, and Microsoft Office 365. ServiceNow ticketing and strong customer service skills are essential.

On-site deskside tasks include IMAC activities, hardware break/fix, and in-person support for end-users in a corporate setting.

Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years deskside support experience.
• Hands-on hardware support, not phone-based.
• Desktop break/fix and OS experience (Windows 7-11, macOS).
• Office tech proficiency (MS Office 365, OneDrive).
• Experience with ServiceNow ticketing in a large corporate setting.
• Strong customer service and face-to-face support.

• Associates Degree or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years prior deskside support experience
• Experience should be hands on support as opposed to phone support
• Experience with Desktop Break/Fix
• Experience with MS Windows 7-11
• Experience with MAC OS
• Experience with office technology (MS Office 365, Web-based Applications, One Drive).
• Install, move, add, changes (IMAC), build, configuration, and software support
• Experience in large corporate technical support environment
• Experience with ticketing tools – ServiceNow
• Experience providing excellent Customer Service and face to face hardware support to customers
