Job summary

The NYC Department of Social Services, Information Technology Services (ITS), is seeking a Procurement Analyst II to function as a Jr. Asset Management Analyst. You will review requests, maintain an automated inventory, and support asset management across hardware and software.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s or associate degree with relevant experience, strong ServiceNow and IT asset background, and a NYC residency requirement as noted for city employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Associate degree with 12 months of satisfactory, full-time professional procurement experience.
• Four-year high school diploma with two years of related professional experience or education-equivalent.
• Combination of education and/or experience may be substituted as described.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate user requests and technical specifications for hardware and software for accuracy and compatibility.
• Support development and coordination of an automated inventory system and asset management database.
• Provide guidance to users regarding the request system to ensure timely processing.
• Coordinate receiving, distribution, installation, and relocation of inventory with timely updates to the Asset Management database.
• Collaborate with staff, including interns or consultants, providing direction on asset management tasks.
• Assist in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining programs to generate analytical reports from ServiceNow and inventory database.
