Job summary

Archinect in Rhinebeck, NY is seeking a junior level Architect to contribute to high-end residential projects Upstate for development firms and private clients. You will be employed by S3 Architecture and collaborate with Upstate Modernist, working in a hybrid environment from design through construction documents and contract administration.

Ideal candidates hold an Accredited Professional Degree in Architecture with at least 2 years of professional experience, strong design and communication

Qualifications

• Accredited Professional Degree in Architecture.
• 2 years minimum professional architecture firm experience.
• Based in Mid-Hudson Valley with ability to drive to Rhinebeck office 2x per week.
• Ability to assist with all phases of a project from research and concepts to design and details through to project completion.
• Hard working, motivated and self-sufficient; ability to work well independently and in a group.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency with direct interaction with Clients, Construction Managers, Subcontractors and Vendors.
• Experience in working on fully coordinated drawing sets.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all project stages from design to construction documents and contract administration.

Architecture and residential development firm based in Rhinebeck, NY seeks junior level Architect for work on new high end modern residences Upstate for the development firm and private clients. Architect will be directly employed by S3 Architecture, and will work in coordination with home building firm Upstate Modernist. Architect will work in a hybrid working environment, directly with the Principal Architect and the Project Team, assisting in all project stages, from design to construction documents and contract administration. Architect should possess strong design, communication and representational skills, and be able to take an active and collaborative role in the operations of the firm. Requirements include:

• Accredited Professional Degree in Architecture.
• 2 years minimum professional architecture firm experience.
• To be based in Mid-Hudson Valley and ability to drive to Rhinebeck office and job sites in the area 2x per week min.
• Ability to assist with all phases of a project; from research and concepts to design and details through to project completion.
