Job summary

Blejer Architecture in the Hudson Valley is seeking a junior architectural designer to join our collaborative studio. You will work on all project phases from schematic design to construction administration, contributing to revisions, drawing sets, and client communications.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture, have 0–5 years of experience, be proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp, and be eligible to work in the United States.

Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Architectural Designer who is driven, creative, and responsible. We work collaboratively and learn from each other in our studio. In this role, you will work closely on all aspects and phases of our projects, from Schematic Design to Construction Administration. Our current projects range from renovations and additions to new build ground-up construction. Your responsibilities will include drafting, developing details and construction methods, coordinating with consulting engineers, communicating with clients and builders, creating drawing sets, and working on small teams or working independently under the guidance of the principal architect.

Candidates

Candidates must be available to work full time in our office and meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
• 0 - 5 years of professional office experience
• Strong graphic representation skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
