Job summary

Flyover Attractions invites applications for an Applications Specialist I to support and improve our business apps, including POS and ticketing systems. The role is entry-level on the IT team, based in Chicago with hybrid work and occasional on-site tasks up to four hours weekly.

You will learn our application landscape, resolve day-to-day requests, and help with integrations and rollouts, working alongside senior team members.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years in IT support, help desk, or application support (internships/counts)
• Exposure to business applications or SaaS tools is a plus
• Basic understanding of how applications, databases, and integrations fit together

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for business applications (POS/ticketing, productivity, and line-of-business systems)
• Triage and resolve application support tickets, escalate complex issues
• Assist with application updates, testing, and rollouts
• Help maintain integrations and data flows between applications
• Create and maintain user guides, documentation, and knowledge base articles
• Support end-user training and onboarding for applications
• Handle Level 1 on-site tasks (hardware, printers, peripherals) up to ~4 hours per week
