Qualifications

• Several years with relevant banking experience in Anti Financial Crime.

• Experience on Italian AML/CTF regulation.
• Bachelor's degree (ideally in law, business or finance) preferred, but not essential.
• Knowledge use of Google Workspace.
• In-depth understanding of Anti-Financial Crime regulations and compliance standards.
• You are fluent in English and Italian (spoken and written).

About the opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic Lead (Fixed-Term Contract) to join our AFC Operations Department in Madrid to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and relevant company policies related to Anti-Financial Crime. Our target in AFC is to lead and shape the industry by creating a culture of compliance within N26 that authorities, customers and stakeholders can trust. This role is crucial to achieve this goal.

In this role, you will:

As AFC Operations Team Lead, you will support all Anti-Financial Crime tasks including AML, terrorism financing, sanctions, KYC, and fraud. You’ll detect Money Laundering typologies and Financial Crime patterns, while handling external and internal requests to detect potential financial crime.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing a team of analysts and investigators.

What you need to be successful:

Background:
