Job summary

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of Kotlin or Java and object oriented programming concepts.
• Experience building at least one Android application through coursework, internship, bootcamp, employment, or personal project.
• Basic familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, asynchronous work, local data storage, and debugging tools.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Implement well-scoped Android features and bug fixes in Kotlin under guidance.
• Build UIs with Jetpack Compose and Android Views per requirements.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and UI tests as appropriate.
• Use Git and team workflow to create changes, request reviews, and address feedback.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, and mobile peers to clarify behavior and edge cases.
