You will work with engineers, product partners, and designers to translate clear requirements into maintainable Kotlin code and expand ownership of your work across locations.

Qualifications

• Foundational Kotlin/Java knowledge and OO concepts.
• Experience building at least one Android app through coursework, internship, or project.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, async work, local data storage, and debugging tools.
• Ability to write readable code, break down small problems, and justify choices.
• Working knowledge of Git or another VCS.
• Interest in automated testing and learning QA practices.
• Clear communication and receptiveness to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Implement well-scoped Android features and bug fixes under guidance.
• Build UIs with Jetpack Compose and/or Android Views per requirements.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and UI tests.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, and QA teams.
• Use Git and team workflow to create changes and address feedback.
• Investigate defects using reproduction steps, logs, and crash reports.
• Participate in planning, standups, demos, and releases.
• Document implementation details and share learnings.
