Job summary

WENCOR in Temecula, CA is seeking a Technician I to perform a variety of aircraft component repair processes under supervision according to approved docs and FAA regulations. You will disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, test parts, and order required items while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

This role requires basic electrical/mechanical knowledge, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow defined procedures.

Qualifications

Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge preferred, or willingness to learn.
Mechanic stamp acquired within 6 months.
Strong interpersonal skills and reliability; able to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

Perform and properly document part maintenance functions under guidance, to include: disassembly, cleaning, inspections, WO evaluation, ordering required parts, part repair, and testing, in compliance with specific approved documentation and procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Ensure training records are created whenever OJT training is initiated, and ensure completed records when proficiency is established.
Perform all tasks in a manner that complies with safety policies.
Identify and request consumables or tooling needed in the repair process prior to needing it.
Perform other tasks, as required.
