Job summary

HEICO is seeking an entry-level Technician I to perform a variety of aircraft component repair tasks under close supervision. You will follow approved documentation, complete required training records, and work under defined methods and procedures.

Responsibilities include disassembly, cleaning, inspections, testing, and ordering parts, while maintaining a safe, organized workspace and strict adherence to PHS/FAA guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Basic electrical and/or mechanical knowledge preferred, or willingness and ability to learn.
  • Mechanic stamp acquired within 6 months.
  • Emphasis on safety, accuracy and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and properly document part maintenance functions under guidance, including disassembly, cleaning, inspections, WO evaluation, ordering required parts, piece part repair, and testing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Ensure training records are created when OJT training is initiated and completed.
  • Perform tasks in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Identify and request consumables or tooling needed in the repair process before needed.
  • Perform other tasks as required.
