Job summary

Wencor Group in Temecula, CA, is seeking a New Product Development Engineer to support engineering and technical operations within an FAA Part 145 repair environment. You will develop repair data, tooling, and internal processes while ensuring airworthiness and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate NPD activities, revise drawings, support reverse engineering, and help maintain documentation controls across production, quality, and procurement teams in a fast-paced, regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 2–5 years of aerospace, manufacturing, or MRO experience preferred.
• Experience at an FAA Part 145 repair station strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO quality systems desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate New Product Development activities.
• Review opportunities for New Product Development.
• Develop and revise engineering drawings, models, and technical documentation.
• Support reverse engineering for alternate parts and repair processes.
• Assist in tooling, fixture, and test equipment design and documentation.
• Maintain engineering data and revision control.
