Job summary

Valiant Harbor International in Washington, DC, is seeking a dynamic Junior Action Officer to support ARPA-H DGRS initiatives. This full-time role requires strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills to help drive operational planning and stakeholder coordination.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree, 3–5 years in strategic planning or performance management, experience in project management, and proficiency with M365 and Atlassian. Hybrid work with 2–3 days onsite.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in strategic planning and/or performance management.
• Experience in project management, process design and facilitation, and executive communications.
• Experience in designing and implementing processes and SOPs.
• Strong proficiency in M365 and Atlassian.

Job Description: Valiant Harbor International is seeking a dynamic and highly organized JuniorAction Officer to support strategic initiatives at the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) Directorate for General Research and Science (DGRS). This full-time position requires an experienced professional with strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills to help drive effective operational planning, stakeholder coordination, and leadership engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a track record of supporting executive leadership, coordinating complex activities, and synthesizing policy and international developments for strategic execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track new initiatives across the agency; work with leadership teams to implement new tools.

• Track tasks and items to completion; develop new reports.

Required Qualifications:

Work Environment: Hybrid; minimum 2–3 days per week required onsite at Washington, DC client location.

Salary Range: Negotiable.
