Job summary

Valiant Harbor International in Washington, DC, is seeking a dynamic Junior Action Officer to support ARPA-H DGRS initiatives. This full-time role requires strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills to help drive operational planning and stakeholder coordination.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree, 3–5 years in strategic planning or performance management, experience in project management, and proficiency with M365 and Atlassian. Hybrid work with 2–3 days onsite.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; concentration in health or management desired.
• 3–5 years of experience in strategic planning and/or performance management.
• Experience in project management, process design and facilitation, and executive communications.
• Experience in designing and implementing processes and SOPs.
• Strong proficiency in M365 and Atlassian.
• Background in health policy and/or biomedical research.

Responsibilities

• Track new initiatives across the agency; work with leadership teams to implement new tools.
• Support executive communications across the agency.
• Track tasks and items to completion; develop new reports.
• Support administrative duties such as taking meeting minutes, scheduling meetings, etc.
