Job summary

TriHealth is seeking an entry-level Accounts Payable Clerk to support the AP team in processing invoices, checks, and reimbursements at the Baldwin Building location in Cincinnati. The role involves data entry, mail processing, and reconciliations, with emphasis on accuracy and timely payments.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and up to 1 year of clerical AP experience, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.

• Up to 1 year experience Clerical Accounts Payable Experience (Required)
• Microsoft Office Suite-Excel, Access, Word

Responsibilities

• Performs data entry of accounts payable invoices and check request into Lawson and OnBase with a high level of accuracy.
• Processes all incoming mail (invoices) and prepares for scanning into the OnBase system. Processes invoices in the OnBase Verifier system with a high level of accuracy.
• Monitors the main Accounts Payable email account to address and distribute accordingly.
• Completes payment processing and distributes paper checks in accordance with departmental procedures. Completes the Patient Refund payment run twice weekly.
• Researches and reconciles assigned vendor accounts and serves as a liaison to vendors as well as internal TriHealth team members.
• Performs file maintenance of paper copies of invoices to maintain audit requirements.
• Serves as a support person to the AP Leaders and assists with special projects as assigned.
