Job summary

Fire Fighter Sales and Service Co. is seeking an Entry-Level Accounting Administrator to support the Finance Department with day-to-day AR and AP tasks. Training will be provided and there are growth opportunities within the accounting team.

This 24-hour-per-week, part-time role offers a professional business-casual environment in Warrendale, PA. It is ideal for someone starting their accounting career who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn basic processes and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have a basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and send customer invoices and post payments.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due balances.
• Assist with month-end AR tasks and account reconciliations.
• Enter vendor invoices into the accounting system.
• Match invoices to PO and receiving documents.
• Process check runs and electronic payments; maintain vendor records.
• Provide general administrative and data-entry support.
• Support month-end and year-end close.
