Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Junior Accountant / Accounting Assistant to join its growing accounting team. This full-time position offers hands-on experience across the full accounting cycle and exposure to ERP systems.

You will support day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts receivable and payable, reconcile accounts, assist with monthly close, and work with senior leadership on special projects and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience or working knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Understanding of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within an accounting career path.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities throughout the full accounting cycle
• Support accounts receivable processes and provide backup support for accounts payable functions
• Prepare account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with financial reporting and month-end accounting activities
• Help manage and maintain ERP and accounting systems
• Collaborate with accounting leadership on special projects and process improvements
• Support documentation, recordkeeping, and compliance‑related activities
• Contribute to ongoing operational and accounting initiatives
