Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of accounting experience; internships or coursework may qualify.
• Basic understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare and post journal entries under the direction of senior staff.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Assist with preparation of financial reports and management reports.
• Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.
• Support audits by gathering schedules and supporting documentation.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other financial analysis as needed.
• Ensure transactions are processed in accordance with policies and standards.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
