Job summary

A well-established organization in New York is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant. This role offers exposure to the full accounting cycle and involves daily accounting tasks, month-end and year-end close processes, and collaboration with the Accounts Payable team. Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting experience, ideally with a background in Accounts Payable.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles including GAAP.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting tasks focused on debts and credits, prepaids, and accruals.
• Assist with preparation and analysis of profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
