HF Sinclair Corporation is seeking an entry-level to intermediate staff accountant to support basic to moderately complex accounting/treasury tasks under direct supervision. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely reporting and adherence to department policies.

You will prepare statements, analyze data, coordinate accounting activities, assist in audits and provide reporting to multiple departments. A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required; SAP FI/CO, SAP BI or Coupa experience is

Qualifications

• Basic ability to perform accounting analysis and maintain data accurately.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and accounting software.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares accounting statements and reports and distributes as necessary.
• Reviews, updates, and maintains files and data periodically.
• Communicates information related to department projects to various teams.
• Assists in data gathering, analysis, and interpretation for projects.
• Performs various assigned analyses and supports accounting activities.
• Assists in preparation of presentations and meeting information.
• Processes reports and ensures adherence to department policies.
• Enters data into the system and coordinates accounting activities.
• Responds to inquiries and conducts routine audits.
