Job summary

HF Sinclair Corporation is seeking a Lease Accountant to lead complex accounting tasks in the Accounting department and guide junior staff. This role focuses on lease portfolio management, month-end close, and ASC 842 compliance, with strong emphasis on accuracy and process improvements.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, and preferably a CPA designation.

Qualifications

• Requires complex accounting analysis and strong mathematical skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close for lease accounting with journal entries.
• Manage and report on lease portfolio using consolidated lease software.
• Maintain GL accounts and reconciliations related to leases.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly lease reporting and ASC 842 compliance.
