Corporate Coverage Company in Chicago, IL is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our onsite finance team. This entry‑level role supports accounting operations across multiple entities, handling journal entries and bank reconciliations with guidance from senior staff.

You’ll prepare weekly performance reports, assist with monthly close, track inventory and cost trends, and participate in special accounting projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with accounting software is a plus.

Responsibilities

We are the shared services and accounting division of a family-owned group of recycling and industrial service companies operating across six states. Privately owned since 1976, our organization supports rapidly growing markets throughout the Midwest and South. Our companies provide industrial waste and recycling equipment solutions, including onsite service, compactor and baler installation, and preventative maintenance for commercial and industrial customers. About The Role As a Junior Accountant, you will support our finance and accounting operations by taking on a variety of tasks and projects.
