Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Lead and support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Analyze financial results and prepare detailed account reconciliations.
• Assist with technical accounting research and new accounting standards.
• Partner with auditors during external and internal audits.
• Support internal controls, compliance, and process improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, tax, and operations teams.
• Contribute to special projects and scalable accounting processes as the firm grows.

We are partnering with a premier professional service firm in Chicago to hire a Senior Corporate Accountant. Position Overview

The Senior Corporate Accountant will play a key role in managing the firm’s accounting operations, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, and supporting financial reporting and close processes. This individual will partner across finance and business teams, contributing to process improvements and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
