Job summary

VIVA USA Inc is seeking a contracted accounting professional in Chicago for a hybrid schedule. You will handle daily accounting activities, maintain the general ledger, and prepare financial reports with GAAP guidance. The role reports to a Supervisor or Manager and requires a relevant Bachelor's degree with 0–3 years of experience.

This contract may convert to full-time based on business needs and performance, with two days remote and three days in the office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business management is required.
• 0–3 years of accounting experience is acceptable.
• Hybrid work arrangement with at-home and on-site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare various accounting statements and financial reports.
• Report to Supervisor or Manager as part of a team.

Familiar with a variety of general accounting concepts practices and procedures. Generally reports to Supervisor or Manager.

Candidates must have their own computer to work hybrid schedule. Otherwise they will need to work fully onsite.

This is a contract role with the possibility of conversion to full-time based on business needs and performance
