Six One is on the hunt for an energetic Public Relations Junior Account Executive to join our vibrant team, working with clients in the beauty, wellness, and lifestyle sectors. What You’ll Do:

1. Media Support: Assist in day-to-day media relations, working effectively across key beauty, wellness, and lifestyle account teams.
2. Storyteller: Develop media angles, contribute to media strategies, and pitch ideas that resonate.
3. News Tracker: Monitor client and industry news, features, and product placements.
4. Organizer Extraordinaire: Manage and compile monthly client press reports and recaps, ensuring detailed organization for clients, media, deadlines, and product requests.
5. Trend Enthusiast: Stay up-to-date with the latest beauty and wellness trends, bringing fresh ideas to the table during creative brainstorming sessions.
6. Communicator: Possess excellent verbal, presentation, and follow-up skills, communicating quickly and clearly.
7. Relationship Builder: Develop and maintain productive relationships with clients, media members, and influencers.
8. Media Liaison: Develop and maintain rapport with a cross-section of media - beauty, regional press, socially conscious media, and online outlets.
9. PR Material Preparer: Prepare client-facing PR materials, including pitch writing and drafting proposals.
10. Problem Solver: Demonstrate excellent judgment and the ability to solve problems independently.
11. Pitch Pro: Pitch clients to various media outlets, including television, print, online, and podcasts.
12. Multi-Tasker: Juggle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet appropriate deadlines.
13. Press Handler: Manage incoming press requests efficiently.
14. Continuous Learner: Expand your PR & marketing expertise in media relations, corporate communications, and digitally-minded public relations.
15. Influencer & VIP Connector: Leverage your experience in influencer and VIP relations to enhance brand visibility, build meaningful connections with key industry players, and foster impactful partnerships.

Note: Six One is currently 100% remote, but the candidate for this role must reside in Southern California for easy accessibility for in-person, on-the-ground beauty/wellness client activations.
