FirmPilot is seeking a Junior SEO Specialist to help power the next generation of AI-driven search optimization.



If you're energized by fast-moving environments and excited about building smarter, more scalable SEO systems, this role offers the chance to contribute directly to the growth of an innovative, AI-powered SaaS company.

In this role, you’ll go beyond traditional SEO execution, you’ll support the development of an AI agent designed to automate and optimize key SEO workflows. From researching keywords and refining metadata strategies to assisting in technical SEO mapping, your work will help shape a product that drives real impact for legal and clients. You'll collaborate closely with our marketing, growth, and product teams to ensure that our AI agent delivers results that scale.

What You’ll Do:

• Support the execution of core SEO product activities including keyword research, on-page website optimization, metadata creation, internal linking strategies, and technical audits
• Collaborate closely with the product team to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into our AI agent
• Proactively identify technical SEO opportunities and coordinate with product and engineering teams to prioritize and resolve issues such as page speed, indexing, and structured data enhancements
• Support SEO initiatives in collaboration with the Lead Customer Success Operations Manager and the Director of Client Marketing, ensuring SEO execution aligns with overall marketing and business strategies for clients.
• Monitor and maintain website health through regular audits using tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, and Ahrefs
• Stay current on industry trends, algorithm updates, and evolving best practices, and regularly share insights with the broader client success and product teams
  
  

What You’ll Bring:

We are looking for an individual who is agile, organized, proactive and possesses a strong work ethic. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to be resourceful, adaptable, and own your actions. Experience in a startup or high growth environment experience preferred, including:

• 1–2 years of SEO experience (agency or in-house); experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a strong plus
• Experience with SEO and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog)
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset — we deeply value individuals who take full responsibility for their work and are committed to delivering measurable impact.
• Ability to interface confidently with the product team to provide feedback and help shape feature development of AI agents based on real-world insights.
• Comfortable operating outside the boundaries of a traditional 9-to-5, we are building something ambitious, and flexibility, agency, and self-motivation are key.
• A strong personal and professional value system; integrity, resilience, and a commitment to excellence are essential.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
