Overview

A global freight forwarding company near JFK Airport is urgently looking for a motivated individual interested in international logistics coordination or billing processes. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented and confident working with numbers. This is a long-term contract position with a benefit package including insurances and PTO.

Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $21.50/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Manage all billing processes related to air import freights.
• Prepare and process required billing documentation for international shipments.
• Support the operations department with logistics strategies and administrative tasks.
• Track bills and accounts payable to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
• Communicate with customers and vendors regarding billing inquiries and discrepancies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support team operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or higher.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and strong organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, culturally diverse environment.
• Previous office experience, including internships, is preferred.
• Japanese or other Asian language skills are a plus.
