Job summary

Anchor Hocking in Byhalia, MS is seeking a Junior Equipment Operator to support production on a 7PM-7AM rotating shift. You will load materials and deliver supplies, operate forklifts, and maintain accurate inventory records to keep lines running smoothly.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely and in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
• Successfully complete required forklift certification and maintain safe operating practices.
• Maintain continuous communication with Production personnel to ensure timely material replenishment and support production requirements.
• Deliver components and packaging supplies to production lines as needed.
• Remove finished goods from production equipment and transport pallets to storage locations.
• Perform inventory transactions using RF scanners and inventory systems to ensure accurate records.
• Create and maintain inventory for completed production pallets.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production floor per 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Perform other duties to support manufacturing and warehouse operations.

Join the team at the front line! The Junior Equipment Operator position gives the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment at the front line of production. This position is crucial in keeping production running. Responsible for providing production with materials to run jobs, as well as creating inventory for the facility.

SHIFT: 7PM - 7AM | Rotating Schedule

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely and in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
• Successfully complete required forklift certification and always maintain safe operating practices.
• Maintain continuous communication with Production personnel to ensure timely material replenishment and support production requirements.
• Deliver components and packaging supplies to production lines as needed.
• Remove finished goods from production equipment and transport completed pallets to designated storage locations.
• Perform inventory transactions using RF scanners and other inventory management systems to ensure accurate inventory records.
• Create and maintain inventory for completed production pallets.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production floor in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned to support manufacturing and warehouse operations.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma /GED
