Description
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Utility / Production Support employee to help keep production running smoothly. This position provides hands‑on support throughout the manufacturing floor and may include material handling, machine operation, production backup, machine servicing, quality checks, and production paperwork.

Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment to move materials throughout the production area
- Supply tools, parts, and materials to production workstations as needed
- Load materials into machines according to work instructions
- Provide backup support to production operators, including off‑loading, assembling, trimming, and packaging products
- Operate off‑line production and support equipment as assigned
- Assist with machine setup, work area organization, and production preparation
- Assist with machine breakdown and cleanup following production runs
- Perform basic preventive maintenance as assigned
- Complete production‑related paperwork accurately
- Inspect products and processes to ensure they meet quality and production standards
- Identify and properly handle non‑conforming products
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all quality, safety, and production procedures
- Participate in cross‑training and assist in training other employees as needed
- Work both independently and as part of a team
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Experience with department‑specific machinery or production processes is a plus
- Forklift experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Strong hand‑eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to perform basic math, read measurements, and convert fractions
- Ability to read and follow detailed written and verbal instructions, including basic drawings
- Ability to perform repetitive work while maintaining accuracy and concentration
- Strong attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new equipment and processes and participate in cross‑training
- Commitment to quality and workplace safety
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for most of the workday
- Ability to lift up to 65 pounds
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and use of hands and fingers
- Good hand‑eye coordination and close/color vision
- Ability to work at varying heights, including use of ladders or rolling stairs
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise and minimal fumes

Employees may use computers, forklifts (stand‑up or sit‑down), department‑specific machinery, hand tools, rulers, ladders, rolling stairs, and other production equipment as needed.
